Representative Phillip Thompson and Senator Jerry Behn will meet with constituents and share information of the current legislative session Saturday, March 2, at 11 am at the Welcome Center at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens in Jefferson.
The Iowa legislative session is at the half way mark, and both Thompson and Behn will make comments and answer questions from constituents.
The Thomas Jefferson Gardens board is acting to carry forward the philosophy of Thomas Jefferson, the primary creator of the Declaration of Independence. His values regarding an open government for the people, motivated the TJG board to initiate these interactive forums.
Rick Morain will serve as moderator as he did at the first Meet your Legislator session held Feb. 2.
Light refreshments will be served by Thomas Jefferson Garden board members.
Paton-Churdan and Greene County students are encouraged to attend and will be recognized by the moderator. Reservations are not required.
